Scatti di curiosità - Extend your "photo-curiosity"!

Una fragola a terra è una fragola. Oppure? La fretta di tornare casa. Oppure? L'inizio di una passione travolgente. Oppure? La fine di un amore a colpi di macedonia. Oppure? La prova di un delitto. Oppure? Un capriccio. Se ci fermiamo a guardare, le piccole cose raccontano mille storie. E saper guardare è un'arte che tutti possono imparare: bastano tempo, attenzione e... una macchina fotografica, lo strumento ideale per allenare la propria curiosità!

Unfreeze propone due appuntamenti di Photo-curiosity, ovvero il piacere di stupirsi guardando il mondo attraverso una scatola. Domenica 13 e sabato 26 giugno ci incontreremo nella casa-laboratorio sulle colline di Lucca e di lì partirà la nostra avventura fotografica a caccia dei soggetti che più ci appartengono. Gli incontri, oltre ad offrire spunti tecnici, si orienteranno sulla ricerca e sullo sviluppo di un proprio "sguardo fotografico", personale, libero e creativo. Saranno ottime occasioni per condividere con nuovi amici la passione per la fotografia, rilassarsi, lasciare la mente libera di creare, camminare all'aperto, respirare i profumi del bosco. Staremo insieme dalle 15:00 alle 19:00 sotto la guida fantasiosa e paziente di Margherita, di cui segnaliamo lo splendido photo-album.

A strawberry on the groud is a strawberry. Or is it? Going back home in a hurry. Or? An uncontrollable passion? A love story which ending in a fruit fight? Evidence of a crime? A tantrum? If we stop and look, the little things can tell us many stories. And knowing how to look is an art we can all learn: we just need time, attention and... a camera, the best tool to develop our curiosity!

Unfreeze proposes two laboratories of Photo-curiosity, or rather the pleasure of suprising yourself observing the world through a small box. On Sunday 13rd and Saturday 26th June we'll meet in the home-lab in the hills of Lucca and, after getting to know each other, go for a photo-walk, searching for things that better reflect us. Besides offering a few technical tips and tricks, the laboratories will help you search for and develop a "photographic look", that is personal, free and creative. An opportunity to meet new friends, to share a passion for photography, to relax, be outside and breathe the scent of the woods, in short to unfreeze your (photo-)mind! You can choose to attend one or both of the meetimgs. The courses are from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and will be led by Margherita, whose wonderful photo-album is available here. All the activities will be in Italian, but an English speaking Italian teacher will be present for those in need. What better opportunity to learn or improve your Italian! Mamma e ... - Happy mother's day

Bella, stanca, generosa, esigente, allegra, ansiosa, professionista, casalinga, leonessa, chioccia, complice, poliziotto... Se sei una o tutte queste mamme insieme, non puoi non essere creativa!
Unfreeze manda i suoi auguri a tutte le mamme del mondo e ricorda loro i prossimi laboratori che si terranno nella casa-laboratorio di Lucca: un angolo di natura, relax e libertà di creare.

Maggio è dedicato alla moda con un laboratorio di gioielli e decori creativi, che si terrà sabato 29. A giugno due passeggiate fotografiche, il 13 e il 26 , e, per festeggiare l'estate, due appuntamenti con il cucito: creiamo insieme vestiti per bambini e borse il 19 e il 26 giugno. A chi poi vuole un intero week end di manualità, relax e turismo, Unfreeze offre il suo aiuto. Il nostro Team è in contatto con una rete di piccoli hotel e B&B della zona di Lucca e saremo felici di aiutarti a trovare una sistemazione comoda e accogliente.

Beautiful, exhausted, generous, demanding, happy, anxious, manager, housewife, lioness, mother hen, partner in crime, detective,... if you are one or all of these mums then you must be creative! Unfreeze says happy mother's day to every mum in the world and would like to remind them of the forthcoming activities scheduled to take place at the "home-laboratory" nearLucca: an original Tuscan home, a small corner of nature, to relax in and be free to create!

May is dedicated to fashion with a course of creative jewellery on Saturday 29th. In June there will be two photography walks on 13rd and 26th in the hills of Lucca. To celebrate summer two sewing appointments are scheduled for 19th and 26th June when we will create children's clothes and bags together. All activities will be in Italian, but an English speaking tutor will be present to help those in need. This is the perfect opportunity to learn or improve your Italian! Il mare d'inverno - Eco-design from the beach

Hai mai giocato alla forma delle nuvole? Teste, cavalli, draghi,... E il gioco è ancora più divertente se fatto con i rami, i sassi e le assi che il mare deposita sulla costa tirrenica alla fine dell'inverno. Come le chiocciole dopo la tempesta, gli amanti dell'eco-creatività aspettano che le onde si acquietino per andare a caccia del tronco più bello. E, immancabile, la mareggiata regala loro materiali, idee e suggestioni. E' una passione virale, che infetta anche i più insospettabili. Sulla spiaggia si incontra di tutto: i "tronchisti professionisti", che riempiono furgoni e giardinette con i rami con cui arrederanno i locali di grido dell'estate, gli eco-designer amatoriali, che raccolgono nodi, sassi e conchiglie per decorare e creare, gli esteti, che dicono "guardo e basta" ma poi se ne vanno nascondendo bracciate di legni di tutte le forme!

Anche il team di Unfreeze è contagiato e intende trasmettere la sua passione a tutti quelli che vorranno partecipare ai laboratori di eco-design in due episodi! Episodio 1: ci incontriamo e perlustriamo la spiaggia in cerca dei "pezzi migliori". Un'occasione per stare all'aria aperta, fare movimento in compagnia, esercitare fantasia e curiosità. Episodio 2: torniamo nella casa-laboratorio e trasformiamo ciò che abbiamo raccolto in oggetti, gioielli, decori. C'è chi ne ha fatto un sostegno per tende, chi un ciondolo, chi un appendiabiti, ma sono ancora mille i possibili usi di quello che ci regala il mare. E' un'attività creativa, salutare, eco-sostenibile: è Natur'art!
I laboratori si svolgono nel week end e prevedono uno spostamento casa-spiaggia di circa 30 min in auto. Unfreeze è in contatto con una rete di piccoli hotel e bed& breakfast in cui soggiornare.

During the winter, sea storms bring driftwood and stones with astonishing shapes to the Tuscan beaches. These are the ideal materials to create decorations, accessories, jewellery and other design objects. Unfreeze invites you to Natur'art, eco-design laboratories in two "episodes"! Episode 1: combing the beach , looking for the best "pieces". A perfect opportunity to be outside, get some exercise with friends and share fantasies and ideas. Episode 2: return to the lab-house and work on a design project, transforming what we collected from nature. Labs take place at weekends and are carried out in Italian (an English speaker is present for those in need). What better opportunity to learn/improve your Italian! "Italian Sofa": the most comfortable way to learn Italian!

WHAT "ITALIAN SOFA" IS
A new way of learning Italian, based on experiencing language and its uses directly in the context. We will meet in a comfortable, cosy living room and we practice Italian through conversation, reading magazines or newspapers, sharing memories and commenting photos...and much more! The sofa is just the beginning. We are going to cook, go for a walk, look after pets, visit exhibitions, go shopping together. Each of these experiences will offer you the opportunity to learn, remember and test your linguistic skills. The aim? To live Italian, to learn Italian. See more about programme & methodology.
A window on Italian culture. "Italian Sofa" offers you the opportunity to get to know the real Italian life: habits, beliefs and points of views. Meetings are held in the living room of a real Tuscan house, tutors are Italian native speakers and so are the people you will meet during the excursions. Stop being a tourist! An informal place to play, meet & learn. "Italian Sofa" is only one of the activities organised by Unfreeze. We propose creative opportunities and events ...to unfreeze our minds and live happier! Painting, sewing, eco-design and other many more activities to express yourself, make friends and ... improve your Italian.
